List of application documents All documents submitted to admission office for the purpose of consideration for admission to KIMEP programs will not be returned, except for the original education credentials as diploma, UNT and KTA certificates. Undergraduate degree applicant Basic application package is required for all and any applicants to KIMEP. Basic application package is to turn personal interest into the formal KIMEP applicant status and give access to participation in the exams includes three key documents: 1. A completed application form for admission to KIMEP (photo, stated program choices, valid address and the original signatures are obligatory); 2. Four recent passport-sized photos (3х4) – colored or black-and-white; 3. A photocopy of the passport or national ID card Complete undergraduate application package that would allow consideration for admission is extended to the following documents: 4. Official confirmation from the school (high school, vocational school, college) on the graduating status in the current year of the applicant; · for the graduates of previous years, the original attestat 5. Official copy of the academic transcript · for students in the last year of study in the high schools or vocational schools, the transcripts for at least last two years of school study certified by the school or final high school transcript; 6. If applicable, copies of any certificates, honors, or awards in the field of interest of the applicant for the last 3 years, especially at National and International levels; 7. At the applicant’s own discretion, he or she may submit any other documents he or she considers relevant to attach to the application form Undergraduate Transfer applicant Basic application package A copy of the student card, signed by the dean of the college (director of the institute); Official confirmation from the university on the student status (year of study, program, status); Request for a transfer written to the Vice President of Academic Affairs of KIMEP Official copy of the academic transcript from of the previously attended university; Certificate of the Unified National Testing (UNT) or the National Complex Test (CTA); Request to transfer written to the head of the previously attended institution of higher education (signed and stamped by the head); For consideration of possible credits transfer, it is necessary to submit: · original transcript (with the grading system and hours taught) · license of the vocational school · attestation proof with the MOE · description of the courses certified by the school Graduate degree applicant Basic application package is required for all and any applicants to KIMEP. Notarized copies of all transcripts, or a copy of the grade list for graduating/final year students certified by the university; 6. A CV, covering academic achievements and work experience; 7. Copies of any certificates, honors, or awards in the field of study of the applicant and all other certificates, honors or awards; 8. Two letters of recommendation from the college/university or work · no letter of recommendation is required for MBA and MAE programs; 9. An essay in English, as follows: For applicants to the MPA program: “Why did I choose the MPA program at KIMEP? What are my goals and how will the MPA program help me to achieve them?” (2-3 pages). For applicants to the MIR program: the theme should be devoted to their interest in a KIMEP education (1-2 pages). For applicants to the MAIJ program: it is preferable but not obligatory to submit three pieces of work: published article, and audio/video materials. For applicants to the MA in TESOL program: a free biographical essay: "Why did I choose the MA in TESOL program? My goals and how the MA in TESOL program will help me to achieve them." (2-3 pages). No essay is required for applicants to the LLM, MAE and MBA programs. 10. At the applicant’s own discretion, he or she may submit any other documents he or she considers relevant to attach to the application form.
